Hutta is a very straightforward map, and regular questing should uncover most areas. The only areas I’ve found that is not covered by quest objectives are Drainage Isle and the little island group in the far north-eastern corner; however, these will naturally unlock when chasing achievements.
For those interested in easter eggs, Drainage Isle also has a champion level chemilizard hiding in the north-western end. While it doesn’t technically count towards any of our achievements, it’s still a cool touch.
Hutta has six lore objects counting towards the achievement. While there are a few more to find, I’ve intentionally stuck with only listing the ones that count for the achievement, to avoid any mix-up or confusion. Note also that #1 and #6 both are inside Fa’athra’s palace, and will have separate maps showing their location at their specific description entries.
1. CARBONITE FREEZING.
This lore object is on the second level of Fa’thra’s palace, next to the quest object for the mission “Return of the Warrior”.
This lore object is next to the bridge just south of the Rust Yards, leading you from the Evocii Work Camp mission hub to the Rust Yards mission hub.
3. EVOCII EXILE.
This lore object is in the Bog area, along the northern wall separating it from the renegade evocii village. It is also straigth underneath the aim datacron shelf.
4. EVOCII HISTORY.
This lore object is situated atop of the little hill straight ahead as you exit Jiguuna for the marshes.
5. EVOCII TRIBES.
This lore object is situated in the middle of the lake camp in the Eastern Grime, south-east of the Evocii Work Camp.
This lore object is, again, inside Fa’athra’s palace, on the main level. It’s lying on the table in the north-westernmost chamber, next to one of the droids for the mission “Unfinished Business”.
Alongside the lore objects, there are also codex entries from killing wildlife. The Hutta achievement has three entries, all of which are relatively easy to find.
1. AKK DOG.
Easily found on the same hill as the Evocii Tribes lore object.
While found anywhere there’s bog water all over the planet, it’s important to note that only chemilizards of strong difficulty will trigger the codex entry. I’ve put the location on the map based on where there’s the highest density of strong chemilizards, around the river’s end south of Drainage Island.
Like the chemilizards, only a specific type of xuvva will trigger the codex entry. These are the xuvva scavengers, who are found exclusively behind the factories in the Rust Yards.
Hutta has three datacrons to collect, two in the open and one in the Heroic Area for the mission “Factory Recall”. As YouTube is already crammed with datacron videos, most of which are more than good enough, I’ll post links to existing videos alongside my description, rather than make new ones.
This datacron is located in the Bog, on a small shelf along the northern wall. Walk up the fallen pipeline up to the hill, jump down onto the wall, and follow it to the datacron. Video here.
Go to the two small islands in the north-eastern corner of the map, then follow the pipelines towards the island. You’ll have to do a precise jump at the corner, but apart from that, it’s very straightforward. Video here.
BLUE MATRIX SHARD.
This is the hardest of the Hutta datacrons, as it’s located inside the underground Heroic area, and guarded by a champion level droid. It’s fairly easy to solo once you get your companion, however it’s recommended to go with a group until then. Simply enter the area from the western entrance (by the twi’lek questgiver) and follow the arrow on the map, and you’ll arrive there easy as pie. Video here.
